By visiting Skagit Transit websites, including the My Ride
Skagit Transit website and mobile application, all users agree to only use the
online material provided in the strictest manner of its original intent and
will not use the site for any unlawful activity, redistribution, or in any way
that would violate the terms and conditions of use outlined herein by Skagit Transit.
Any use of the Skagit Transit websites shall comply with all applicable local,
state, and federal laws and regulations. Unauthorized attempts to upload
information or change information on Skagit Transit websites are strictly
prohibited and may be punishable under state law and federal statutes including
the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information
Infrastructure Protection Act.
Skagit Transit
monitors and collects network traffic and activity on its websites, and this
information will be used to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change
information or to otherwise cause damage. Users’ use of Skagit Transit websites
constitutes express acknowledgment that they have read and understand all
Transit policies and that they expressly consent to such monitoring.
Skagit Transit
does not guarantee nor is responsible for how its websites work on individual and
personal devices. Skagit Transit website services are a convenience presented
to the patrons of the system. It remains the user’s sole responsibility to
diagnose and resolve any technical issues experienced when using Skagit Transit

changes in technology and software updates could present usage issues. Skagit Transit

WARRANTIES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER WHETHER ORAL AND WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Users of Skagit Transit websites hereby waive and
release Skagit Transit from any and all claims related to the use of Skagit Transit
websites.
The Skagit Transit logo and the My Ride Skagit Transit logo are trademarks of Skagit Transit. Any use of the materials stored on its websites is prohibited without the written permission of Skagit Transit. Skagit Transit retains all intellectual property rights including copyrights on all text, graphic images, and other content. This means that the following acts or activities are prohibited without prior, written permission from Skagit Transit: 1) modifying and/or re-using text, images, or other web content; 2) distributing Skagit Transit website content for any purpose; 3) "mirroring" of Skagit Transit websites’ information; 4) any reselling or soliciting use of site or site content; or 4) or any reusing or broadcasting of content for private or commercial purposes.
Privacy Policy
Access to Skagit Transit
websites is provided to the user and subject to the terms and conditions that
follow. Use of Skagit Transit websites indicates users’ express acknowledgement
and acceptance of all these terms, as written herein, and that these terms are
subject to update and revision from time to time without notification. It
remains the user’s sole responsibility to stay current on all usage rules and
terms. Continued use of Skagit Transit websites signifies that users remain
apprised of any updates or changes in these terms or conditions and their

Skagit Transit provides use of its websites to facilitate continually improved
transit services for transit riders. To accomplish this result, Skagit Transit
uses a number of third-party services to support online features such as
locating the closest bus stops and route locations, bus time push
notifications, and OAuth logins. Third-party services used may include, but are
not limited to, TripSpark, Google Analytics, Google Maps, Google OAuth, Google
reCAPTCHA, OneSignal, Facebook, Twilio, Twitter, TextMarks, JotForm, Umo, and
Bit.ly. It is the user’s sole responsibility to become familiar with and to
accept the terms and conditional use policies for these third-party services
prior to using Skagit Transit websites.
Information collected
directly and stored by the Site and the App includes email addresses and SMS
phone numbers. Additional User information that may be collected, may include
but will not be limited to: rider locations, rider destinations and times of
usage. In addition, when a user visits the Site, or uses the App, data for the
following sources are collected by Google Analytics: the HTTP request of the
user; browser/system information; and first-party cookies. My Ride does not use
Google Analytics data to identify individual users but rather to review usage
patterns and data. The Site and App may collect User location data to provide
information on the nearest bus stops and bus routes, and to assist users with
trip planning.
Skagit Transit respects and is committed to protecting the privacy of its
riders. Skagit Transit and MyRide Skagit Transit will not knowingly sell or
otherwise distribute any user’s personally identifiable information to any
third-party. We take the security of your personal information seriously.
MyRide shall not be
responsible for the privacy practices or disclosures of any of the
above-referenced third-party services utilized by the MyRide Skagit Transit
Site or App. Users are encouraged to read the applicable privacy policies and
terms and conditions of any such third-parties and websites. users of Skagit Transit
websites expressly waive and release Skagit Transit from any claims related to
information presented to Skagit Transit websites’ third-party vendors and
support services.
